Excellent place to walk my dog. Also great trails for human excercise. A large variety of plants and flowers to see. Lots of shaded area to walk. The smell of pine trees is one of my favorite things about the park. Also available: tennis, basketball, raquetball, soccer, baseball, fitness trail, tot lot, pavillions and grilling.
PRISTINE public park with multiple gated pickleball courts. Pickleball courts are a handsome walk from the parking lot. Plenty of grassy areas and ample parking. Truly a neighborhood GEM!
This is the park for racquet sports in Boynton Beach with a ton of lights for racquetball, 4 tennis courts and 8 pickle ball courts.
All are lit for night play up until 9pm. The courts are busy but rarely full so you can typically walk on without a wait at either of the venues depending on the time of day you play.
The tennis courts have nice high fences and windscreens and do allow tennis lessons. The courts are first come first serve and allow for one hour of play.
The highway noise from 95 is omni present so it can be a bit loud with the constant humming but not overwhelming. It is also next to the train tracks.
The pickle ball courts are short walk down the pathway and were installed in an old hockey rink. There are 6 courts inside the rink and two on the outside.
The level at pickleball courts is very beginner. If you are a new player this is a good launch pad.
The challenge is since there are so many neophyte players there is no etiquette or rack system. They have racks for “next up” but they aren’t used unless they have over flow.
I would recommend a few private pickleball lessons to start if you are shy.
The recently took down the rink walls and added a chain link fence so you can have easy access from both sides of the venue. The pickle ball courts get busy.
Bring friends pick up a game and meet new friends. Naturally its first come first serve and with lights that shut off at 9pm
Love this park! Well maintained and lots of people. I go there pretty often
Beautiful Park with tennis courts, outdoor racquetball courts and 8 pickleball courts. All the facilities are well-maintained.
You can play pick up pickleball almost every morning, from about 8:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m.. No partner needed. Place your paddle on the ground on top of the numbers. You will be paired with three other game players. When your number is up you will get the next open court. You play one game, if others are waiting. If you already have a group of four, put all four paddles on the same number to play together. Only negative is there are no wind shields and it does get windy on the courts. There are spectator bleachers outside the courts. The courts are inside a skating rink.
There are walking concrete sidewalks as well as a path with wood chips. I assume you can walk, run or bike on this path. Along the path are outdoor workout stations.
Nice park. They have lit basketball courts in the evening.
Great park, love the wildlife, there lots of shade and you can also run and do exercise.
covid testing: if you get in line before 5pm, you get tested.
i got my rapid test results with an hour.
they gave me the option of getting a rapid test, pcr or both.
i do not have health insurance, and it wss free.
Very nice size complex. We visited March 7th, 2021 for my daughter's Softball March Madness Tournament.
There are ample amounts of fields. I'm not sure if it was due to Covid-19 concerns or just the particular day we were there, but the concessions stand was not open. So, bring lunch. But there is a decent amount of shopping nearby.
Parking can get tough if you're going for a big tournament, otherwise it's more than enough.
A little something for anybody looking to stay active. This place is a well maintained hidden gem & perfect for our pup too!
